Congratulations Lenape Valley High School Marching Patriots

On Sat. Nov 4th, the Lenape Valley High School Marching Patriots won back-to-back championships claiming 1st place in US Bands Group IIA NJ State and National Championships. The day began with National Championships with bands competing from about the northeast at Allentown, PA where the Marching Patriots finished with the winning score of 93.313 capturing additional awards for best color guard and best overall effect. In the evening, the rescheduled New Jersey State Championships held in Middletown, NJ, the Marching Patriots finished with a very high score of 96.438 capturing additional awards for best music, best visual, best effect, and best color guard. The marching band, under the direction of Mr. David DiGrazia, worked over 235 hours in practice through the summer and fall. The champions were welcomed home after a long day that started at 6:30 am and ended after midnight by local fire and EMS who lead the busload of students to the high school for a homecoming celebration.
