Free At-Home COVID-19 Testing

Morris County is now offering FREE at-home COVID-19 saliva and nasal testing.

Morris County is now offering at-home, COVID-19 saliva and nasal testing at no cost to people who want to be tested.

Only Morris County residents and people who work in Morris County are eligible.
If you work in Morris County, but do not live here, you must submit proof of employment in the county such as an employee identification card or your employer’s contact information. Once that information is confirmed by our staff, you will receive an email with further instructions.
You will be asked to provide your health insurance information, but you will not be billed. If you are not insured, your test will still be completed with no cost to you.
Due to limited supplies, individuals will be limited to two tests per month.

Scam Targeting Senior Citizens

Senior citizens across the state are being targeted through a phone scam. Victims are contacted, via phone, and informed that their grandchild was in an accident or was arrested and they are in need of bail money to be released. The caller tells the victim the sum of money needed and sends a courier to their home to pick it up or directs them to wire the money or purchase gift cards.

There have been over 70 incidents reported statewide with several occurring in Morris County. Anyone receiving a similar call is asked to contact Netcong Police Department immediately.

This online reporting system is only to be used to report a set of limited criminal incidents with very specific criteria listed below:

Criminal Mischief
Harassment
Lost Property
Property Damage
Theft of Property
Fraud/Credit Card/Financial Identity Theft

If you do not receive an email from a representative from the Netcong Borough Police Department within 12 hours please call the non-emergency telephone number at 973-347-7700 and follow the options.
