Several residents have inquired about how to how to make their property taxes payments given the Municipal Building is closed to the public. Here are your options:
- While we love seeing you all at the counter in the Municipal Building, right now we are encouraging everyone to make their property tax payments on line. There is a small cost associated with this method – credit card payments cost 2.65% or $3.00 minimum. You can also pay by check, at a cost of $1.50. Go to netcong.org and follow the link to ONLINE TAX & UTILITY PAYMENT, second menu from the top of the page.
- If you wish, you can drop off your tax payment through the mail slot in the front door of the Municipal Building, 23 Maple Avenue. Please include your block and lot number on the e-check and the tax stub. For this quarter you want to tear off the stub 2020-2 for the second tax quarter.
- If you are unsure, call us! 973-347-0252, extension 105 for Cindy Eckert, extension 102 for Jennifer Meehan or extension 106 for Joanne Hartland.
