SPRING 2012 Leaf Collection Schedule

NOTE:

If an area is scheduled for pickup on a holiday, every effort will be made to collect the materials on the next business day.

BRUSH COLLECTION

Brush collection will be every Tuesday during the months of April, May and June. Please place bundled brush at the curb on the evening prior to the collection (small twigs will be accepted) from a rigid container, (no bags will be accepted). Please tie the brush in bundles not to exceed 6’ in length, or maximum 50 pounds in weight.  The diameter of the branches cannot exceed 4”. A maximum of 5 bundles per household will be collected each week. In the event of an emergency storm during any other month the Department of Public Works will schedule emergency collections.

Hedge trimmings will be collected on the First Tuesday during the months of May, June, July, August and September. Please place trimmings at the curb on the evening prior to the collection in a rigid container such as a trash can and limit the weight of the container to 50 pounds.

Grass collection will start on April 11, (weather permitting) and continue on Mondays for the summer months- Remember to place the grass clippings at the curb on the evening prior to collection in a rigid container which can be dumped into the truck- Bags of grass clippings will not be accepted-Please limit the weight of the container to 50 pounds.
