  • Main Street Transit Upgrade – Road Closure and Service Impacts
    on September 9, 2026 at 6:00 pm

    Residents are advised that work associated with the Main Street Transit Upgrade Project will begin on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 9:00 AM. A hard closure will be in effect, and transit service will not be available during the work. Construction is scheduled to continue Thursday through Monday. Paving is currently scheduled for Monday, September 14, with Tuesday, September 15 designated as the rain date. Please be advised: No transit service will be available during the closure. Soft closures will be in place in front of Cluck-U, allowing access to the Transit Parking Lot. Pedestrian access across Route 46 will be limited and may be inconsistent throughout the project. Residents and motorists are encouraged to avoid the area whenever possible and plan alternate routes. Please use caution when traveling near the work zone and allow additional time for travel.
