Netcong BOE Vacancies

The Netcong Board of Education has two open Trustee positions due to the resignation of Mrs. Catherine Gervasio and Mr David Costanzo. The Board wants to thank both former trustees for their years of dedication and service to the Netcong School community.

The Netcong Board of Education will be accepting letters of interest for any person wishing to fill either vacancy on the Board of Education. All letters must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on September 14th, 2021. The Board will interview all interested candidates at a special meeting on September 21st at 7:00 pm. All letters of interest should be submitted to Mr. Paul Stabile, Board Secretary, via email to pstabile@netcongschool.org.

The successful candidates will not be seated until they have passed the required Office of Student Protection fingerprint and background check mandated by law. The successful candidate must submit fingerprint and background checks within 30 days of being selected as a successful candidate. After successful completion of the fingerprint and background check the successful candidate will be seated at the next board meeting.

St. Huberts is now serving Netcong!

Beginning April 1, 2021 St. Hubert's is providing animal control services.

Netcong Borough has entered into a contract to provide animal control services in the Borough. They will be performing the following services:

Picking up stray dogs & cats (either contained or running at large).
Picking up injured/sick/stray/domestic animals (dogs/cats) and injured/sick wildlife.
Removing wildlife from a resident's living quarters. Attics and walls are not considered living quarters unless they are 100% finished.
Investigation of animal bites and quarantining animals involved in bites.
Animal nuisance complaint investigations and inquiries
Picking up of deceased domestic animals (dogs/cats)
Welfare Checks

TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) management of feral cats in contracted towns.
All owner surrenders should be handled by appointment only by our front desk staff at (973)377-2295 ext. 0. Owner must submit paperwork to our front desk first or upon arrival.
