Plastic Bag Ban Regulations

Pursuant to P.L. 2020, Ch. 117, the State of New Jersey now has a ban on plastic bags effective May 4, 2022. New Jersey retail stores, grocery stores and food service businesses may not provide or sell single-use plastic carryout bags and polystyrene foam food service products.     Lake Musconetcong will begin its annual drawdown on October 15. This years scheduled drawdown is forecast for a lowering of one foot from full pool to be completed not later than November 1 and lasting until mid December.
