Notice is hereby given that the following Ordinance #2026-5

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE POLICE CHIEF TO EXECUTE AN APPLICATION FOR A CHARITABLE SOLICITATION PERMIT FOR AMERICAN LEGION AMBULANCE CORP OF STANHOPE/NETCONG’S “COIN DROP” ON JUNE 5^TH,JUNE 6^TH2026 AND ON SEPTEMBER 11^TH,AND SEPTEMBER 12th^, 2026 AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF ALLEN STREET AND LEDGEWOOD AVENUE AND MAIN STREET AND ROUTE 46 IN THE BOROUGH OF NETCONG, COUNTY OF MORRIS, STATE OF NEW JERSEY

was finally adopted by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Netcong in the County of Morris and State of New Jersey at a regular meeting thereof held on the 12^TH day of March 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building, Netcong, N.J

Garbage Can Placement Reminder
on April 9, 2026 at 6:00 pm
With winter parking restrictions now lifted, the Borough is reminding residents to properly place trash carts for collection. Improper placement has resulted in missed pickups in recent weeks. To ensure your trash is collected: Solid Waste should only be put out in Netcong Issued garbage cans (Carts) Place carts at the curb Allow at least 4 feet of clearance on all sides, including from vehicles, mailboxes, and other obstacles Position carts with the lid opening facing the street Ensure the wheels are facing your home These requirements are necessary for automated collection using the Borough’s equipment. If carts are not placed correctly or do not have sufficient clearance, collection may be skipped.Additional information can be found at https://netcong.org/solid-waste/cans/.
