SID Assessment Notice

BOROUGH OF NETCONG- LEGAL NOTICE

The Borough of Netcong will hold a public hearing and accept public comment on the Special Assessments for the Special Improvement District for the year 2026 at the regular meeting of the Borough Council on April 9, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. The hearing will be held at the Netcong Municipal Building, 23 Maple Ave. Netcong, NJ. All interested persons may attend and shall be given an opportunity to be heard.

Power outages are affecting parts of Netcong. JCP&L is aware of the issue. Estimated restoration is 7:00 PM. Please use caution.

The Borough of Netcong is aware of multiple power outages affecting areas throughout town. JCP&L has been notified and is actively working to restore service. The current estimated time of restoration is 7:00 PM, though this is subject to change. Residents are encouraged to: Use caution if traveling, especially at intersections where traffic signals may be out. Report any downed wires by staying away from them and contacting JCP&L immediately. Keep refrigerators and freezers closed as much as possible to preserve food during the outage.
