Trex Recycling Challenge

The Borough of Netcong has joined the Trex plastic recycling challenge. The Borough aims to collect 1,000lbs of plastic recycling to be turned into eco-friendly benches which can be installed at DiRenzo Park. Please see flyer below for information on how you can participate:

Netcong has been informed that bamboo is no longer accepted by the disposal facility as vegetative waste. Curbside brush containing bamboo will not be collected

The Borough of Netcong has been informed that bamboo is no longer accepted by the disposal facility as vegetative waste. Effective immediately, any curbside brush containing bamboo will not be collected by the Borough’s DPW. Residents are asked to separate bamboo from other yard waste and make independent arrangements for its proper disposal. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we comply with facility requirements.
