Garbage Can Placement Reminder

With winter parking restrictions now lifted, the Borough is reminding residents to properly place trash carts for collection. Improper placement has resulted in missed pickups in recent weeks. To ensure your trash is collected: Solid Waste should only be put out in Netcong Issued garbage cans (Carts) Place carts at the curb Allow at least 4 feet of clearance on all sides, including from vehicles, mailboxes, and other obstacles Position carts with the lid opening facing the street Ensure the wheels are facing your home These requirements are necessary for automated collection using the Borough’s equipment. If carts are not placed correctly or do not have sufficient clearance, collection may be skipped.Additional information can be found at https://netcong.org/solid-waste/cans/. We appreciate your cooperation in helping maintain an efficient and reliable solid waste collection program.
